In the dynamic world of investment, which has been particularly volatile this year, there is a need for benchmarks to guide investors. In this 2024, global markets have been marked by a number of challenges, including persistent inflation, interest rate fluctuations, the threat of recession in the U.S. economy and geopolitical tensions.
Against this backdrop, it may be helpful to identify investment funds with good results and review their portfolios and strategies: since January there have been several MAPFRE AM funds with interesting returns. As always, it should be noted that past profits are no guarantee of future performance, and that risk is always a factor to bear in mind.

Despite the headwinds, the MAPFRE Group's fund manager has managed to weather the ups and downs with several of its funds. The leading investment vehicles in terms of performance this year have been those that have combined well-defined strategies and precise asset selection. Global diversification, the focus on strategic sectors and exposure to key markets have been key factors in its performance this year.

These are the five best-performing funds in the MAPFRE AM range so far this year:

1. Fondmapfre Global FI (ES0138445038)

The Fondmapfre Global FI was the best performing fund in 2024, achieving a cumulative return of 10.94% so far this year. This fund of funds, which falls into the large-cap global equity category, has benefited from the recovery of international markets after a 2023 marked by economic uncertainty.

Its globally diversified approach has enabled it to capitalize on opportunities in diverse regions and sectors, and thus minimize the impact of local fluctuations. In addition, it has been boosted by its exposure to large tech companies.

This fund, which has the most assets in the entire catalog of the management company, achieves 12-month returns of about 16%, while at five years, annualized gains are nearly 8.5%.
