Furthermore, he manages the MAPFRE AM Behavioral Fund, a European equity fund that has just turned three (with 3 stars, according to Morningstar, and an A rating, from Citywire) and accumulates returns of more than 35 percent. This product, based on behavioral economy, devotes around 25 percent of its portfolio to sport-related companies and well-managed football teams with sound balance sheets.
Among the finalists for manager of the year, were also Luis Buceta, investment director at Creand AM, and Beatriz Catalán, head of active management at Ibercaja Gestión. As part of the final decision, the votes of more than 3,000 professionals in the sector, the minutes of the different interviews with managers and their impact on social networks have been taken into account.
